The Vulcan Engineering V-Cooler is a custom engineered evaporative type sand cooling system. The system incorporates infrared scanners to measure sand temperature, level switches for zero, medium and high sand levels and a programmable control system to modulate the water sprays. An optional weight system is available to monitor the mass flow rate of sand for better control of sand exit temperature.
