Vulcan Engineering Co. can provide casting design assistance, tool build, foam molding and casting services on this program.

Vulcan Engineering Co. can assemble a Lost Foam design team to work with the Customer to establish a casting design. This will include consideration of foam-split lines, feature design and overall functionality, mold ability, and cast ability.

This team composed of a casting designer, a process designer, and a technical advisor can spend one week with the customer group to establish the above parameters. Time, travel, and living expenses for the casting designer, process designer, and technical advisor will be at the expense of Vulcan Engineering Co.

From this initial working session, direction can be established for the customer’s product design group to build a 3-D Computer Model (Catia or similar), compatible with tool builder capabilities.
