DENSITY MONITORING SYSTEM

The density monitoring unit is available an as option with new pre-expanders or can be installed in existing bead rooms.
All beads produced by the expansion process pass through the density monitoring unit and are held there while the density is measured.
Beads which do not meet density specifications can be automatically diverted to a “scrap” silo and kept out of the process material flow.
The density monitoring can easily be retro-fitted onto any brand pre-expander, not just those manufactured by Vulcan.
